About Sea
Who?
Sea moved to Australia in 2005 and since then has lived around the northern suburbs of Perth and explored only a small portion of the beauty that the countryside has to offer. Sea studies High School Mathematics Education at Edith Cowan University. His theory of teaching is: "An engaged student feels safe to put their best foot forward. A safe environment promotes exploration of subject matter, critical thinking, and student-driven problem-solving approaches." Sea believes that teaching is more than just the topic at hand, be it mathematics, physical education, history, english, or other important areas of learning. Teaching is seeing the spark of learning in someone and encouraging it to grow into a formidable fire.
Maths?
Sea has a passion for maths that started very early on. He loves how structured mathematics is and within this structure the creativity it affords. Mathematics is more than just operating on numbers, it's a way to develop critical thinking to connect seemingly separate concepts, it's fundamentally required to function in society; whether you work in an office or in the field, knowledge of mathematical concepts is important.
Dancing?
Sea loves the creativity that dancing embodies and the differing levels of complexity within each dance. Dancing is another language, another way to communicate and converse with like-minded people. Read more about Sea's dancing...
